Location: Auckland (with some remote flexibility)

Organisation: Rotary Club of Mount Eden

Commitment: Volunteer (approximately 3–5 hours per week)

About the Project

The Rotary Club of Mount Eden is seeking a passionate and motivated Volunteer Project Leader to help coordinate a humanitarian initiative focused on supporting healthcare services in Fiji.

This project aims to source, organise, and facilitate the delivery of medical equipment to communities and healthcare providers who need it most. We are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s lives and help turn a meaningful idea into a successful project.

The Role

As Project Leader, you will:

  • Coordinate and drive the overall project plan
  • Engage with Rotary members, donors, and community stakeholders
  • Help identify and secure donated medical equipment and resources
  • Assist with fundraising activities and sponsorship opportunities
  • Organise project meetings and provide progress updates
  • Work alongside a supportive team of Rotary volunteers
  • Help ensure equipment reaches the intended recipients in Fiji

About You

You don’t need to have healthcare experience to apply.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about helping others and creating positive change
  • Has strong organisational and communication skills
  • Enjoys bringing people together around a common goal
  • Can take initiative and follow through on commitments
  • Is comfortable coordinating projects and managing stakeholders
  • Has a collaborative and community-focused mindset

Desirable but not essential:

  • Project management experience
  • Healthcare, medical, or charitable sector experience
  • Fundraising or sponsorship experience
  • Connections within healthcare, business, or community organisations
